URBAN DESIGN VENTURES provides Economic Development Services to both public and private entities to access Federal and State funds to create new job opportunities, assist in the start-up of new enterprises, and the expansion of existing businesses. The UDV staff provides professional expertise in preparing applications, grantsmanship, and technical assistance in economic development. Specific areas of experience include:

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of market analysis and project feasibility reports for specific projects and activities.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of pro formas, cash flow forecasts, income statements, and sources and uses of funds.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of applications and project design for public and private entities to access Federal loan funds at low interest rates for up to a 20-year term.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of TIF Plans and negotiation with the local taxing bodies to borrow funds based on increased future tax revenue.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of EZP applications for designation and recertification under the State Enterprise Zone programs.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of applications to establish a BID and the development of project guidelines and activities for the improvement of commercial areas.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of program guidelines, underwriting, and administration of RLF programs for business development.

  • UDV specializes in the preparation of EDI applications for grants to support economic development in communities.
